Man charged with leaving child

A Cover Road man has been charged with leaving a 2-year-old child alone in a house.
Pennsylvania state police charged Brian Rizzo, 32, of 192 Cover Road with recklessly endangering another and endangering the welfare of a child.
Police said Rizzo left a 2-year-old boy alone in a house between 3:30 and 4 p.m. on Nov. 2. The child walked out of the house and into the intersection of Cover Road and Route 18. Someone picked him up there and returned him to his home.
The child was unhurt, according to police.
Charges were filed before District Judge James Reed.
